Five steps. No surprises.
We start by showing you a working preview. If you approve the direction, here's what happens next:
- Preview — you see an early version of the site built for your business.
- Approval — you tell us what to change, if anything, and sign off.
- Build — we finish it: real content, images, a mobile layout, and basic setup to help local search engines understand the site.
- Launch — the site goes live on your domain.
- Handoff — you get the source code, your accounts, and a video walking through all of it.
After launch
30 days to catch a defect
We fix any defect found in the first 30 days at no charge. Content or design changes after launch are quoted separately. There is no maintenance plan, and you never have to buy one.
The clock starts on your launch date, not the day you first notice something. To report a defect, call or email us and describe what isn't working. The most we owe you is a fix — we correct the defect, we don't rebuild the site or refund it. See “What’s covered and what isn’t” below for what counts as a defect.

What’s covered and what isn’t
A defect is something we built wrong. Example: the contact form we delivered doesn't send you the message. A new request is something you want changed after launch. Example: you want to swap the photos in March. Defects inside the 30-day window are fixed at no charge. New work is quoted separately, whenever you need it.
Day one
What you get, handed to you
When your site launches, you get:
- Complete website files (source code)
- Access to, and ownership of, your domain and hosting accounts
- A list of the settings that connect your domain to the site (DNS records)
- A list of every image and font used, with the license for each one
- Short instructions for publishing changes yourself
- A handoff video walking through all of it
The question people ask
What happens if we close?
If we close, your site stays in your hosting account and your domain stays in your name. The recurring cost can be limited to the domain renewal, billed at your registrar's current price. With the hosting option quoted for your project, hosting and SSL may cost $0, within that provider's limits. Professional email, future changes, and extra tools are separate. There is no StreamLines subscription standing between you and your website. Any web developer can open the website files and make changes.
